NORTHPOWER UPDATES

Mangawhai Heads has been without power since midnight last night.

The cause and the estimate restore time is unknown, with approximately 50 customers affected.

Unfortunately due to dangerous conditions they are having to leave this area isolated until tomorrow. They apologise for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience. Please treat all lines as LIVE.

Parts of Brynderwyns, Maungaturoto, Waipu Gorge, Whakapirau, Ruakaka and Whangarei are also affected.

VECTOR UPDATE

According to Vector website there are power outages in parts of Wellsford, Leigh, Matakana, Omaha, Puhoi, Whangaporoa.

Reason for outage and estimate restoration times are yet to be determined.
