Work on the third phase of the Mangawhai shared path to kick offKaipara District Council is building a shared path network for Mangawhai, improving safety and connectivity between its two centres, and making it easier to travel by foot, bike, or scooter along busy Molesworth Drive.

Works on the next phase of the Mangawhai shared path kick off next week.

A number of residents and nearby business owners attended a drop-in session on Thursday where the project team and the contractor answered questions about what physical works would look like.

From Wednesday (7 February), the Downer crew will start on the section between Old Waipu Road and Dune View Drive. As work progress, construction will move north along Molesworth Drive.

While the crew are working temporary traffic and pedestrian management will be in place. For the section between Old Waipu Road and Dune View Drive two way traffic will be maintained. Please follow any directions of staff on site and take care.
