The Warkworth Community Transport Hub is now operational.

Located at 80 Great North Road, near Warkworth Showgrounds. 

It features:

137 car parks

A bus layover

Bike parking

2 Toilet blocks

CCTV security and lighting.

Footpath's and a signalised pedestrian crossing.

It provides parking and a hub for public bus travel to Wellsford and to Warkworth for connections to Matakana and Kowhai Coast, also into Auckland city.

Bus timetables are currently unchanged.

The Rodney Transport Targeted Rate was introduced by Auckland Council in 2018. The $150 per annum rateable property charge is projected to raise $41 million over ten years to pay for new bus services and bus stops, park and ride facilities and footpaths such as this one.
