Food Fire Friends. We create multiple products designed to be used inside or out. From Carbon Steel frypans to Hibachi Grills, Braziers and lighting.

All our products are designed to be the antidote to stressful lives.

Each individual piece is handmade, beautifully designed and long-lasting.

We use locally sourced materials and make our products here in Aotearoa because we care about preserving the outdoors that we design for.

Our product range is built to last for generations. Simple and timeless, it will perform just as well from year one to year thirty.

The environmental footprint is measured over life expectancy of the item.

SYML embraces the principle of circular production.  All our products are recyclable post lifespan.  Even if it is a very long lifespan! 

We support other producers who also share our ethos. We partner only with local manufacturers to support craft and create jobs. 

We are all about supporting what can be designed and made right here in Aotearoa. Everything is made as close to our workshop in Matakana as possible..
