The new Motorway is being temporarily opened around 10 am to let people trapped to travel home. After a very long night for some parked up in their cars or town hall trying to sleep as they couldn't get through SH1 or SH16.

SH16 is now open, but SH1 is not.

There is a large queue forming north of Warkworth where the new on ramp is. This is causing traffic delays for people trying to travel in and around Warkworth.
