An amendment to lockdown level four rules means that butchers, grocers, and bakers can now operate via a delivery system, as long as the physical stores remain closed. 

“Whatever can be accessed in supermarkets, people can access through alternative means, online and so on," said PM Jacinda Ardern. 

This means that more local businesses are now able to bring products straight to your door, to help you avoid a trip to the supermarket. 

Warkworth Butchery were originally operating this way through the lockdown, but had to fully close business once they were not classified an essential service. But now they're able to reopen and deliver. You can Phone the store on (09) 425 9947 or, use their online store to place your order.

The Matakana Village Butchery have set up an online order system at https://www.matakanavillagebutchery.co.nz/shop-online and will be able to deliver locally.

Sausages by Design (https://sausagesbydesign.co.nz/) in Silverdale are also trading, but via a contactless pick up system rather than delivery. 

Honest Chocolat Matakana are also able to deliver sweet treats straight to you from https://www.honestchocolat.com/, and with no delivery charge. Unfortunately they're out of easter eggs, but there are plenty of other decadent delights available.
