UPDATED 6.42pm NOW OPEN

Last night there was approximately 90mm of rain in the last 24 hours around the Brynderwyns according to Northland Regional Council rainfall data.

This caused several slips along the main highway as well as an under slip on Paparoa Oakleigh rd resulting in both direction road closure.
