1) SH16 KAUKAPAKAPA TO WELLSFORD - ROAD CLOSED - 12:30PM, SUN 22 DEC

State Highway 16 is now CLOSED west of Wellsford, near the intersection with Ingleton Rd, following a serious crash.

SH16 is closed between Port Albert Rd and Warehine Rd

Follow directions given by emergency services on-site and expect delays through the area.

2) Road Closure: SH 16 Eastbound Link to SH1 Southbound

Due to bridge joint replacement on SH1 the eastbound Link from SH16 to SH1 southbound will be closed continuously (24/7) from 9pm, Thu 26 Dec until 5am, Mon 06 Jan. Use alternative route and allow extra time.

• Detour route - Exit SH16 to Newton Rd, use Newton Rd and Khyber Pass Rd to access SH1 southbound from Khyber Pass Rd on-ramp.
