Another urgent message from Watercare
10am update: Our crews have isolated the watermain. We have six tankers topping up one of the reservoirs to help levels recover more quickly. As far as we know, all of our customers now have water, with the exception of the tennis club which is in the zone that has been isolated for repairs to be carried out. Our contractor is arranging traffic management so that excavation and pipe repair can be carried out. Thank you for your patience. Please continue to reduce unnecessary water use.
Urgent message for Warkworth customers, (5.30am, Friday 28 April) We need everyone to reduce unnecessary water use immediately. There has been another significant watermain break and your local reservoir levels are dropping to critically low levels. Please do not use dishwashers or washing machines until further notice. Keep all showers short – four minutes or less. Do not use hoses, sprinklers or irrigation systems. Our crew is heading to the site of the burst on Shoesmith Street and Brown Road. Please share this post to help us get the message out to everyone in Warkworth. Thank you for doing your bit to conserve water
