For more than 30 years, Puhoi Kayaks has been sending paddlers of all ages down the scenic Puhoi River. Now, they’re bringing their craft up to Warkworth, giving locals the chance to explore their very own river from a whole new perspective

“Let’s get you all out on your own river for a paddle” is the new invitation from Puhoi Kayaks — and it’s one that’s hard to resist. From first-timers to seasoned paddlers, this is about building confidence and connection with the water, right in the heart of our community.

The team has helped everyone from three-year-olds to sprightly 83-year-olds discover the simple joy of kayaking. It’s safe, easy, and most importantly, fun — making it the perfect activity for families. With clear instruction at the start and a gentle launch from the Warkworth boat ramp, you’ll soon be gliding along, taking in the beautiful scenery from a fresh angle.

Imagine your kids seeing their town from the water, or taking a quiet moment to drift past familiar landmarks with a new sense of wonder. This is your river — and now’s the chance to enjoy it.

Puhoi Kayaks will be launching from Memorial Park on Saturday 20th at 1pm and Sunday 21st at 1.30pm. Prices are $40 for adults and $25 for kids for an hour-long paddle.
