UPDATE ON KAIWAKA THROUGH MANGAWHAI TO WAIPU ROUTE

UPDATED 4.45PM SUNDAY 12/03/23

Kaiwaka-Mangawhai Road is now open. This means the eastern Brynderwyns detour route from Kaiwaka through Mangawhai to Waipu is now open for light vehicles and trucks (without trailer units) servicing the local area.

Please drive carefully as traffic management is still in place on some sections.

Truck and trailer units will need to continue to use SH14 and SH12. Check out the below section of this post for details around the restrictions in place on this route
