Under the shade of the pohutukawas on each sunny Tuesday morning, you’ll find The Matakana App’s resident writer, Ruby, reading stories and singing songs at The Farmers Daughter in Omaha.

At 10:00 a.m. every Tuesday, Ruby will be there to entertain the little ones, whisking them away to wonderland and other fantastical realms of the imagination. It's the perfect opportunity for mums, dads, and grandparents to sit down and enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee while the kids are happily occupied.

The Farmers Daughter always has a mouthwatering selection of salads, sandwiches and cakes in their cabinet, so park up for a picnic on the grass and make the most of story time. 

Ruby has two years’ experience working in an early childhood centre, and she is currently working part time at Matakana Village preschool (when she's not writing for Matakana App, of course).
