An unplanned power outage has occured this morning in Hakaru and parts of Mangawhai. The fault is due to an overhead line fault and currently under investigation with Northpower.

Additionally Northpower is carrying out a low, slow-flying helicopter survey of its power lines from Mangawhai to Kaiwaka between 9am and 12pm this morning, Thursday 28th March.
