Police investigating a report of a concerning robbery in Wellsford on Friday 17 May are seeking assistance from the public to identify those involved.
The incident, at a superette on Rodney Street, was reported to Police around 6.05am.
It’s understood two men have entered the premises with weapons, which were not firearms, and verbally threatened the staff member before taking cigarettes, tobacco, and vape products.
They have then left the area in a vehicle believed to be stolen, which was recovered a short distance later.
This occurred as the public were starting to travel to work and the shop was open to the public and we hope that there were witnesses in the area who may be able to assist us with identifying those involved.
