There will be a widespread power outage overnight tonight (Thursday 24 October) from 9:30pm until 5am on Friday morning in parts of Mangawhai while Northpower replaces and upgrades equipment in the area for a more reliable supply. 

All affected customers should have received notification by post or email.

Make sure you have charged your phone, turned off and unplugged any sensitive electronic equipment, keep your fridge and freezer doors closed, have a backup battery supply for security alarms and personal medical alarms, and a backup plan if you are medically dependent on power.
