A message from Northpower

Power will be out in the Mangawhai heads, Cove Road, King Road and Molesworth Drive area from 10am to 3 pm today Tuesday 28th February.

Following Friday's torrential rain, one of our high voltage poles was undermined by a land slip near the corner of Cove Road and King Road, we have been busy building a new line to ensure we can keep the power going in the Mangawhai area.

Over the weekend, we have installed new poles along Cove Road. This will allow us to move the poles and lines away from land that is on the move.

We are now ready to liven this new line. This requires a shut down in power while we switch over from the current line to connect up the new one.

Power will be out in the Mangawhai heads, Cove Road, King Road and Molesworth Drive area (see below map) from 10am to 3 pm tomorrow Tuesday 28th February.
