Unite Against Covid-19 has shared the following information regarding where vaccine passes are required to be shown.
Note: as Aotearoa has not yet hit ‘green’ within the traffic light system, this is not shown in the graphic.
They have said that accommodation providers such as hotels and holiday parks also have the right to choose whether vaccine passes are required or not. Council facilities such as libraries and pools do require the passes.
Everyone can access basic needs services, e.g: supermarkets, pharmacies and healthcare without a vaccine pass. Having a vaccine pass ‘gives you guaranteed access to certain events and venues under the traffic light system.’
As of 1pm today, there are 61 cases of COVID-19 in hospital and 74 new community cases.
