Matakana Tennis Club will be hosting their second annual tennis open on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday March 22. The categories will be open doubles, and men’s and women’s open singles. Last year the event sold out, and it is expected to do so again this year. As there was in 2019, the 2020 Matakana Tennis Open is sure to see some fierce competition. 

Saturday will see the round play and then on Sunday the semi-finals and finals will be held. There will also be a barn party with food from Viet Q, drink and music on Saturday evening; an event not to be missed. To sign up for the Barn Party please email [email protected] The cost is $40.00 and includes food and a drink. The barn party is for all adults, not just the players. It will be a great way to mix and mingle with others local sports fanatics.

The competition costs $25.00 for doubles, and $35.00 for singles, with the money from tickets going back into the prize pool.
