Work continues on the Te Honohono to Kai - Matakana Link road pavement, 70% of footpaths have been laid, kerb is 90% complete, cycleways are being constructed and the foundation pad for two rest areas and two bus stops have been poured.

Wetlands and rain gardens are all planted and all utilities underneath the bridge are installed except the watermain.

73 streetlights have been installed and 16 are live on Matakana Road.
