The annual Mangawhai Bowl Bash is happening today from 10 AM to 5 PM at Mangawhai Activity Zone (MAZ)—one of Aotearoa’s top-tier skate facilities.

This year the MAZ big bowl, now over a decade old, is set for a major revamp. The upgrade will include 75 new coping blocks, a full grind back, and resealing, with project costs estimated at over $50,000.

To help fund this exciting upgrade, gold coin donation parking will be available during the event. If you're able, track down the parking wardens and contribute more, or visit the MAZ website to donate directly.

The Bowl Bash is a huge event for both Mangawhai and the international skateboarding community, attracting competitors from Australia and beyond.
