In Leigh there are plenty of things to do. Leigh is a great base to explore the Matakana district and surrounding areas. There is Goat Island marine reserve for snorkeling buffs and Ti Point Reptile park creating special holiday moments. The nearby beaches are amazing, Auckland at its best from well known Omaha beach to the quieter Matheson Bay and Te Arai surfing beach. The weekend markets at Matakana and Warkworth are an excellent reason to stock up for a picnic.
