LANGS BEACH BRIDGE UPDATE

Langs Beach bridge on Cove Road will open today (Wednesday 1 March) following a final safety check.

The likely timing is mid-morning (so unfortunately too late for most people's morning commutes). We will post to confirm when it's open, as will Kaipara District Council and Whangarei District Council.

There will still be multiple work sites with traffic management along Cove Road so expect delays - this work will continue until the weekend.

Please don't use this as a route for travelling further south until this work is completed - this is for local traffic through to Mangawhai in the interim. The remaining work will take longer if there are high traffic volumes.
