State Highway 1 near Kaiwaka

A large tree is currently hanging over power lines on State Highway 1 near Kaiwaka, between Baldrock Rd and Mountain Rd.

Traffic is stopped in both directions and cannot pass until the tree is safely removed from the lines and the road cleared.

Traffic management is in place.

Delay your journey or expect delays.

POWER

The power has been turned off in the area as a precaution and will be restored when the tree is removed.

Unfortunately, there is currently no ETA on time frames but please take care and treat all lines as live.
