Auckland's next Long-term Plan (LTP), also known as the 10-year Budget, is due to take effect in June 2024.
It sets out what we plan to achieve in Auckland over the next 10 years and how we will fund it.
Mayoral Proposal
The Mayoral Proposal is a significant part of the process to develop and adopt the Long-term Plan.
The proposal was released on 1 December 2023 and outlines the mayor’s vision and priorities for the Long-term Plan 2024-2034.
When you can have your say
The topics for public consultation will be decided at budget committee workshops in December 2023.
Public consultation will then open on 28 February 2024.
This is when you can have your say and leave any feedback you have about the mayor's proposals.
