Auckland Transport will be in Leigh on Thursday this coming week to meet with residents to present a revised proposal for their blanket 30km/h speed limit for the small town.

Many residents have been perplexed and up in arms re the proposed changes.

Tony Enderby who has been spearheading the talks is pleased AT have agreed to talk directly to the community and is hopeful common sense will prevail.
