ASB Wellsford branch will close its door on the 29th of February 2024.

An email was recently sent out to their customers advising of the eminent closure.

Many locals have taken to social media community pages to vent their frustration and voice their displeasure.

Many voicing concerns for the elderly who still use mostly cash and aren’t as tech savvy with online banking.

It means a loss of another local business and jobs.

It will be interesting to see if further small community bank branches also close soon.
