Wellsford Community Based Assessment Centre has confirmed the number of people who have tested positive for Covid-19 has increased by one since last Thursday(April 9).

The total now sits at 10 confirmed cases. The most recent case involved a woman who was in isolation with a person known to have tested positive forto Covid-19. All 10 positive cases detected at the Wellsford centre are connected to overseas travel.

According to the Ministry of Health website. some of the symptoms of COVID-19 are a cough, a high temperature (38°C+) and shortness of breath.
