Wandering Angels Animal Sanctuary is a no kill shelter that rescues, rehabilitates, rehomes and also offers a home for the animals that need to retire here and live their life in a place where they are safe and loved.

Wandering Angels Animal Sanctuary & Farmstay is 10kms off State Highway 1 on the way to Waipu Caves approximately 3kms from the caves. We rescue, rehome and let animals retire on our little slice of paradise up in the hills. We provide a safe place for all animals that come into our care.

Tucked away on 4 acres with some views of the ocean and surrounded by valleys and beautiful bush. John and Michele have a variety of animals they have rescued and given a forever home in paradise where they can be safe and happy
