Kereru Cottage @ Moana Cove Lodge

This charming waterfront cottage has stunning sea views of North Cove and its bush clad environs.  

Framed by huge pohutukawa trees the native bush and wildlife is at arms reach from the cottage.

It is tucked into a backdrop of native bush filled with wekas, kiwis and other native birds whose song echoes around us here day and night.

The cottage consists of an open plan kitchenette with fridge-freezer, microwave, freestanding full oven with rangehood, toaster, electric jug and a manual coffee machine.

Living and dining area with a double bed in the alcove; plus a separate bedroom with twin beds and separate self contained bathroom. 

Bring the kids, your friends or just yourselves to enjoy this special little waterfront spot tucked away in North Cove on Kawau Island.

Access is by boat only and our jetty is tidal so you need to discuss tide times and access when you book with us. Kayaks are available for your use and there is easy access to a number of beautiful bush walks. Linen is provided along with a small amount of tea and coffee. There is also a good sized BBQ on the outdoor deck, and a manual coffee machine for your use but you need to provide coffee grounds to your own taste for this.

Kawau Cruises and Auckland Sea Shuttles can bring you to the island if you do not have your own boat, if you do you are welcome to tie it up on our jetty.
