KAIWAKA WAR MEMORIAL HALL was built in 1952.....

For over 50 Years Movies have been shown in the hall...a large professional..7 Metre Movie screen mounted permanently at the back of the stage behind curtains.

The 2 Kallee Carbon Arc Projectors are still in the old projection room.

We like to keep the tradition in Kaiwaka going with your support.

Since 2012 we have a fantastic sound system...Dolby 5.1 ..5x 300 Watts and 1000 WAtts Subwoofer..HD Projection...we like to bring quality movies to the community .

Price $ 10.00 adults and under 16 $ 5.00 Friday nights.

It's run by volunteers for the community.!!!! In general every second Friday...is a movie night...

Proceeds will go towards The Kaiwaka Hall up grades e.g. new tables.....dance floor restoration. ..replace the old stage curtains, stage lighting, and of course towards the running and maintenance of the Hall.
