About Us

John began his legal career in Wellsford working for a very experienced partnership and after a time there he left for the usual overseas adventures. Upon returning to New Zealand he worked in South Auckland for some years appearing daily in the local criminal and family Courts and also running the conveyancing and business practice for the firm.

Then a career move to Takapuna which then led into the partnership of Auckland’s second oldest law firm wherein his role was to move the Warkworth office from a part time to a full time practice. After leaving that firm in 2002 he has been practising alone and with various partners in the areas of land development where he has completed residential and commercial developments throughout Auckland and Northland undertaking land sales and purchases, business law, trusts and estates.

Outside of the office he is honorary solicitor of more associations and clubs in the community than he can remember undertaking significant amounts of pro bono work, was a member of Warkworth Rotary for over 20 years up to a few years ago being President in the 2000-2001 year, and also actively and administratively engaged in a number of local sporting clubs over that time.
