Founded in 2002, Aotearoa Surf School is one of New Zealand's pioneering surf schools. Owned and operated by Che, a passionate local surfer with a deep love for the ocean, our school boasts an experienced and dedicated team of local instructors. We operate on some of the most stunning beaches in the Auckland region, including Te Arai, Mangawhai, Orewa, Omaha, Pakiri, and Waipu Cove. Our primary beaches, Te Arai and Mangawhai, are just 60 minutes north of Auckland’s CBD, featuring clear blue waters and consistent, enjoyable waves. When you surf with Aotearoa, you are guaranteed the best and most consistent waves from Auckland to Whangarei.
