The Glass House is the spectacular home of Brick Bay Wines and gateway to the Brick Bay Sculpture Trail. Cantilevered over a shimmering lake, The Glass House Kitchen offers relaxed all-day dining showcasing the freshest seasonal produce.
Brick Bay is our passion; since 1986 our blood, sweat and tears have flowed into the soil of this land, our laughter and stories resonate in the salty sea breezes. This land nurtures us and inspires us. Our vision for the future: environmental stewardship, imagining beauty, achieving intergenerational growth.
PLACE: Situated on the coast in the Matakana Wine Region, our 200 acres hosts a boutique vineyard, an extensive outdoor sculpture trail, an architectural-award winning restaurant, in the midst of an idyllic landscape of farmed pasture and native bush.
PEOPLE: Because we are passionate about what we do, striving for excellence without compromise, we gather around us valued people who are equally passionate about their role as part of the Brick Bay Team.
PRODUCTS: We produce a focussed range of boutique wines from grapes grown on site in our sustainably accredited vineyard. Our honey comes from our own hives, extra virgin olive oil is handpicked from our olive groves which overlook the bay.
SUSTAINABILITY: Meeting the needs of today, without adversely impacting on the needs of tomorrow. We are constantly striving to introduce sustainable practices to the property; this is our responsibility to the people who drink our wine, the people who work at Brick Bay and to the wider environment.
We do our best to accommodate walk-ins but during our peak time (12pm - 2.30pm) can only guarantee a table if it’s been booked in advance.
