'The Amazing Beach Race and Hunt' is taking place during the JANUARY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.

FAMILIES FROM HAKARU AND THEIR KIDS KIDS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THIS FANTASTIC BEACH EVENT!

It's a TEAM CHALLENGE....and is open to ALL KIWI families!

**NOTE: Children under 10 years old must team with an adult caregiver or parent!

Kids 10+ can team with a friend or sibling 10+ also!

I can't give away too many clues...but it's a RACE , and a HUNT! 

This will be the perfect opportunity for kids to get outside, get active and enjoy Summer at the beach!

It's also going to challenge their team-working skills, communication skills, their abilities to work quickly together with their partner, deciphering clues, finding objects, and doing it fast, then racing to the finish!

Teams of TWO can enter and there will be some AWESOME PRIZES too!!

It's all about getting outdoors and being active, enjoying our beautiful Northland 'Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach' and getting competitive!!

**Registration is essential, as I will need to know how many teams are competing in the Challenge!

Time: 7-10 am

Meeting Spot: Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach....on the beach in front of the 'old/ damaged' Surf LifeSaving Building.

Starts: 7am SHARP

Cost: $10 to register your team!

End off with a BEACH picnic  to *share* and the kids can play some Beach ball games ... Or take a dip - IF THEIR PARENT IS WILLING TO SUPERVISE THEM whilst they swim!

*A picnic mat and a plate of food or item to share with everyone!
