Family Fun at the Paparoa A&P Show

The 148th Paparoa A&P Show is coming up on Saturday February 1.

Horses, sheep and cattle are just some of the critters at the show – joining a heap of food stalls, and an enormous indoor competition of jams, vegetables, flowers and photography.

Plus there’s the Kumara 500 – an epic wheelbarrow-full-of-kumara pushing competition round the whole of the show site, with $500 in prizes. Entries on the day.

It’s a great day out for the family, and this year kids rides, including the merry-go-round and bouncy castle – are free.

A special feature at the 2025 Show is the Heritage Vehicle display – expecting to attract over 50 cars, trucks and other vehicles from 1980 and earlier.
