After a sell-out Auckland show that had dancers screaming for more, DJ Mark Lawrence, better known as The Mayor of Yesteryear, is bringing his high-energy DJ + VJ experience to The Stables.

A one-of-a-kind set where the past gets a future-funk makeover, The Mayor of Yesteryear re-imagines, re-crafts, and re-funks classic tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, blending live remixes with retro video mashups projected across big-screen visuals.

Featuring long time listener, big time lover, Wendy Douglas, this mid-summer retro remix party transforms The Stables into a time-bending dancefloor of anthems you forgot you loved, re-engineered for right now.
