St Leonard’s Matariki Service

St Leonard’s will be celebrating Matariki this weekend on Sunday 22nd June at 5.30pm.

A special service of evening prayer celebrating the season of Matariki.

Led by Bishop John Bluck, the service is a venture with our Tikanga Maori partner.

The Rev’d John Marsden, a priest of Te Hahi Mihinare, will be our preacher and Wendy Brown from the Leigh congregation will lead the music with her guitar, along with Margaret Simpson at the organ. 

Delwyn Lawrence has a special floral arrangement for the service.
