We’re back with the first "Matakana Comedy Club" of the year - and we’re setting the tone for 2025 with a show that’s stacked with stand-up royalty and razor-sharp talent.

Headlining the night is none other than Paul Ego - the unmistakable voice of PAK’nSAVE’s Stickman, but more importantly, a veteran of 7 Days, The Rock’s Morning Rumble, and one of the sharpest comedy writers and performers in the country.

Paul brings decades of crowd-pleasing brilliance, delivered with wit, warmth, and just enough edge to keep you laughing all the way home.

Also on the bill:

Leading the charge is MC Cori Gonzalez-Macuer – Award-winning, deadpan, and darkly funny. A star of What We Do in the Shadows, Cori’s stand-up is refreshingly unpredictable, mixing dry observational comedy with unexpected punchlines.

Lana Walters – Honest, smart, and brilliantly inappropriate. Lana takes on motherhood, relationships, and real life with bite and charm - one of the freshest comedic voices in Aotearoa.=
