Monthly on day 2 1:00 AM-4:00 AM
The First Sunday of Each Month - Mama Held Nourishing Support Circle
They say it takes a village to raise a child, but where has the village gone?
Many of us Mother predominantly within nuclear family units without in-tact village structures supporting us, and it can be incredibly isolating.
The Mama Held Nourishing Support Circle is a circle for those at any stage of the Mothering journey, where we’ll be holding space for a deep, connected sharing related to Mothering in the modern world.
This is a space for us to share about what lives within us relative to this journey. This is a space for your Mother voice to be heard and be held.
Following our sharing circle, there will be space for discussion on any topics which are “alive” for the group, followed by a light afternoon tea (likely soup and tea).
Babes in arms welcome, but we ask for no older children in this workshop space please.
This circle will be held by Josie Gritten and Samantha Hepburn. Josie and Samantha share a common thread of work and passion which centres the wellness of mothers and holds a vision for deep community care and support.
Weaving together our experience of birth support, antenatal education, postpartum care and education, and our own Mothering journeys, we come together to offer our knowledge and passion to the wider community.
