With venues from Leigh to Puhoi you are sure to have a fascinating time as you delve into the creative spaces opened by the artists between 30 January and 8 February 2026 during the 2026 Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail.

Get your information on the website (https://www.mahurangiartistnetwork.com) where there are dedicated pages about the art trail and you can sign up for the newsletter containing all updates and developments, like us on socials (Facebook: Mahurangi Artist Studio Trail; Instagram: mahurangiartist), watch out for road signs and brochures from the New Year.

We know you love to plan your visits, and with more artists and venues than ever being planned for 2026, we invite you to put the dates in your diary now and make sure your friends and family are ready to indulge in some creative activities.

We welcome our latest supporter and sponsor, the fabulous Gordon Harris Art Stores, who invite you to vote for your favourite artist space; grab your passport to prizes and be in with a chance to win a $500.00 voucher to spend on artwork; get ready to take part in a hands-on workshop; watch the creation of artworks in clay, paint, textile, wire, wood, metal, Perspex, paper and more.

And if you have time, there are so many beautiful locations to eat and drink, to play and to contemplate that we believe you will need to dedicate as much time as you can between the 30th January and 8th February on the 2026 Mahurangi Artist’s Studio Trail, and remember, it is free to visit.
