Come shop til you drop at our upcoming Matakana Junior Artisans' Market. This vibrant event will be held on Sunday, 5th November at 12pm to 3pm at the Matakana Hall.

Local kids will be selling, and showcase their skills and products!

Izzy Wagstaff and Lucy Howlett, two enterprising local kids, are thrilled to bring this market to you to show off the unique aspect of this market - that all stands must be run and managed by kids themselves.

Additionally, local kids’ groups and sporting clubs are coming to the market to fundraise- so bring your gold coins. This is a fantastic chance for these groups to not only raise funds but also to foster a spirit of community and collaboration among other young go-getters.

The Matakana Junior Artisans' Market is also a platform for philanthropy, as Izzy and Lucy are raising money for the Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary. By participating in this market, you and the kids have the opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause and make a positive impact in their community.

Exciting prizes await those with the best stalls and most creative products, and there will be lots of onsite games, fun, face painting, and food and drink!!
