Help get 3500 plants into the earth. 

Friends of Awa Matakanakana (FOAM) want to transform an overland flow path into a wetland.

Paddocks will be planted to enhance freshwater quality downstream and reduce sediment from flowing into Kawau Bay.

The site is easily accessed and family friendly.

Please wear sturdy CLEAN closed-in shoes, and bring water, snacks, hat and appropriate clothing for the weather because the planting will proceed no matter what the weather does. 

If people have them, bring along CLEAN garden gloves and spades. Some will be available. 

There will be a sausage sizzle when the mahi is completed, with vegan options. 

Registration will ensure there is enough kai and to keep people up-to-date on event details.
